Я бы для начала пропылесосил, подёргал шлейфы и память, прогнал
на всякий memtest86, потом загрузился, посмотрел в dmesg и
/proc/interrupts. (если контроллер был бы платой, то и плату
подёргал в слоте)
Ну и пока memtest, погуглил бы эту фразу.
