Кагбе в курсе, конечно. Но из личной практики (откажусь, пожалуй, от
обобщений), если я начинаю использовать "Вы", то у собеседника
возникает некоторое недоумение, а когда "вы" -- никаких проблем.

Ссылочка знакомая, только, к сожалению, единственная из более-менее
авторитетных... Там "вы" занято под обращение к неопределённому кругу
лиц, я знаю...
Как бы то ни было, указывать в рассылке оппоненту на правильность
обращения к себе, любимому, думаю, не стоит :) И уж точно "Вы" не
является аргументом в споре...
