apt-get install ntpd
The following packages will be REMOVED:
alterator-openntpd openntpd
The following NEW packages will be installed:
ntp-aux ntpd ntpdate
Done.
chkconfig --list |grep ntp
пусто, то есть совсем ничего
rpm -qa|grep ntp
ntp-aux-4.2.2-alt1.p4.3
ntpdate-4.2.2-alt1.p4.3
ntpd-4.2.2-alt1.p4.3
на соседней машине все работает как часы - там, кажется мне, не было
openntpd с самого начала
может запостить куда в серьезное место, или это я глючу?

Можешь попробовать повесить на openntpd, но это триггер рисовать,
чтоб пофиксить...
