Мучился не я, а коллега, но мне тоже стало интересно. Может кто тоже
сталкивался, или знает, отчего так может получаться:
Домашний интернет (в Одинцово) от Билайна. Выход через роутер с l2tp.
Все почти работает, но "половина интернета недоступна", то есть часть
сайтов открывается, часть нет. Техподдержка отмазалась "у вас роутер не
из нашего списка". Поставили роутер из списка -- то же самое. При этом
если подключаться без роутера, напрямую компьютером (тоже через l2tp),
то все работает. Техподдержка оказалась бесполезна во всех смыслах и
вопросах, как обычно.
Помогло нечто странное: в настройках l2tp вместо tp.internet.beeline.ru
был указан IP-адрес этого сервера. Все заработало. Хотя казалось бы, как
IP-адрес сервера влияет на работу через тоннель?
