Бомбардировщики Ту-160 "Александр Молодчий" и "Василий Сенько" прибыли в
Венесуэлу 10 сентября. В ходе перелета экипажи самолетов поставили два
рекорда - на самолете Ту-160 продолжительность полета составила более 15
часов, а во время полета над Норвежским морем впервые за последние годы
прошла плановая ночная дозаправка ракетоносцев в воздухе от
самолета-танкера Ил-78 (Ту-160 приняли на борт 25 тонн горючего).
