Не, GIS это уж слишком, такое надо действительно за деньги раздавать.
Просто хотелось отображать структуру домовой сети. Т.е. поверх карты
(схемы) районов города рисовать пиктограммы серверов/роутеров, связь
между ними и доступность в данный момент.

Сопоставление с местностью сделать банально: в описании элементов сети
указывать координаты, в которые следует помещать пиктограмму поверх
изображения (карты района).
