Они и правы -- 127.0.0.1 заканчивается в ядре, а не на железе.

Воткнуть кроссом (хотя для гигабита должно быть без разницы,
но встречались и исключения вроде IBM AMM) другой системник
или ноутбук, настроить адреса в одной подсети, попинговать,
потаскать.
Скорее всего, сама она рабочая (раз трафик прогнала и суммы
сошлись), а проблемы были или в заряде где-либо, или на их
стороне.
