"Во втором квартале 2008 года во всех российских школах завершится установка
лицензионных компьютерных программ, заявил глава Мининформсвязи Леонид
Рейман. Его слова передает ПРАЙМ-ТАСС.
В регионы, по словам министра, уже отправлено около трех тысяч комплектов
лицензионных программ.
Всего на установку лицензионного софта федеральный бюджет выделил около 2,7
миллиардов рублей. Ранее сообщалось, что Минобразования в рамках
соответствующего нацпроекта закупит миллион лицензионных копий русской версии
пакета CorelDraw Graphics Suite. Кроме того, будет поставлен миллион лицензий
на программные пакеты Adobe Creative Suite 3 Production Premium и Creative
Suite 2.3 Premium.
Поддержка инициативы по переходу на лицензионные программы рассчитана на три
года. Часть закупаемого ПО можно будет использовать бесплатно и по истечении
трех лет.
Параллельно в Томской области, Пермском крае и республике Татарстан в 2008
году начнется испытание свободных российских программ, работающих на
операционных системах с ядром Linux. Если эксперимент будет удачным,
российские школы смогут перейти на российское свободное ПО.
