Тройку хотя бы, она вроде довольно долго поддерживалась.
Если до текущих выпусков (не знаю, как что ещё долго поддерживать
будут) никак -- см. Fedora Legacy, только там народ небыстро
добирается.

Если там есть SELinux, то вроде бы скорее неживой. Если нет --
прикрутить vserver будет вряд ли тяжелей, чем настроить то.
В любом случае возня с ядрами требует аккуратности, желательно
бесплатных ресета и "выберите на консоли старое ядро и нажмите
ентер, плииз". lilo -R, append="panic=60" и здравый смысл в
помощь.
