А в курсе ли многоуважаемые разработчики, что leafnode с версии 1.9.24
не позволяет посылать ньюсы с заголовком в 8 бит?
из changelog'а:
# Fix: Posts from broken clients (Control characters or 8-bit characters) in headers are now refused.
Кхм, руки бы за такое отрывать авторам leafnode по самые уши. :-)
Почему?
А потому, что из-за этого становится невозможным писать в фидо через интернет-гейт,
если в subject русские буквы..
Гейт не позволяет пересылать ньюсы с заголовками, отличными от восьмибитного,
В связи с чем предлагаю лифноду жестоко запатчить, как не удовлетворяющую нуждам
простого русскоязычного пользователя. Если никто не захочет сделать патч, могу сам заняться этим на
досуге. Скорее всего, там надо убрать одну дурацкую проверку.
