То же самое. Ядро std-def, драйвер nvidia.
В messages -- ругань plymouth'а на deactivating splash.
При этом невозможно переключиться на текстовую консоль (Ctrl-Alt-F1...)
Исправилось после сноса plymouth
(просто убирание splash из параметров ядра не помогло).
