Здравствуйте.
Решил проверить новые X и Mesa на VIA CN400, драйвер openchrome.
После обновления (ядро пока оставил прежнее: 2.6.25-std-def-alt8)
выяснилось, что скорость копирования видеопамяти снизилась в 3 раза
(и перерисовывание окон стало заметно на глаз).
Проигрывание mpeg2 через аппаратное декодирование не изменилось.
Откатился на прежние версии (которые были в Сизифе до 2008.09.04).
После 'service dm start' скорость копирования стала нормальная, зато
обнаружилось отсутствие /etc/X11/xorg.conf .
Может, так оно и должно быть, но на всякий случай завёл bug #17094
(когда исчез xorg.conf -- во время работы новых X'ов или при их откате --
не знаю).
PS. Пока заводил баг, заметил, что при откате не откатил libX11 и
libX11-locales. Проверю позже, может, это на что-то повлияло.
