Недавно купил домой точку доступа, потому пока что в wifi чайник.
Точка работает строго в режиме WPA2
В виндах интеловские утилиты подключаются к сети, хотя кажется нуэно
пнуть, что WPA именно второй версии. "Кажется", потому что опдробно не
пробовал пока.
В Линуксе же не работает.
iwconfig пишет что radio off (оно и правда у меня по умолчанию off)
firmware 2.4, ядро - wks 26 up
Как включить радио программно? в /sys/modules/ipw2200/parameters/disable -
0
У кого работает - какая версия модуля и firmware ? в рассылке ipw2100
говорят что firmware 2.4 возможно еще сырая и 2.3 лучше ?
PS: с помощью etcnet iftab переименова лподключение в "wifi" - теперь
ifconfig показывает карточку как wifi, а iwconfig - как eth1. Это как-то
исправляется ?
PPS: можете смело RTFMить но с точными ссылками. Я действительно пока
почти не искал по сети, не успел еще.
