Он по умолчанию работает через intel_pstate, который экономит энергию,
как пишут, круче чем cpufreq.
И для него не надо ничего загружать и настраивать.
Я от него отказался только по причине вечного "turbo mode" из которого
не получалось выйти. А так не напрягало и от батареи жило долго.
