С секундомером не измерял, но что-то казалось мне, что раньше все
работало быстрее.
3.12.6-un-def-alt1
Лежит на диске образ, хочу записать его на флэшку. Сразу после
контрольной перезагрузки делаю dd if... of=/dev/sdi, пишет, скорость от
3,5 до 7,5 мб/с (на разных флэшках). При этом iotop показывает,
например, что процесс dd читает и пишет 7,5Мб/с.
Снова контрольная перезагрузка, далее dd if... of=/dev/null, и сразу же
вслед за ней dd if... of=/dev/sdi, и скорость около 20Мб/с, то есть
примерно в три раза быстрее.
Размеры образов от 3,5 до 4,6Гб, оперативной памяти 6Гб.
Конечно понятно, что после полного прочтения файла образа он остается в
кэше, но все равно кажется, что раньше те же самые флэшки записывались
сразу с диска быстрее.
P.S. Занятно выглядит график изменения скорости от времени. Первых два
-- одна и та же флэшка и образ в 4,6Гб, третий -- другай флэшка и 3,5Гб,
из кэша.
