Нашел, где в исходниках coreutils объявили (видимо, давно), что subfs
это DUMMY, и эту ФС надо игнорировать. А почему? Вон supermount вроде бы
игнорировали (алиасом) потому, что df пытался стукнуться во все
устройства, на которые настроен supermount, и происходил ненужный опрос
дисководов, в которых ничего не было.
А теперь ведь устройства, которых нет (не вставлены, не подключены) в
mtab не отображаются, и df вполне может опрашивать то, что смонтировано
с помощью subfs.
