О. Отлично!
-vo gl2 проигрывает нормально
-vo sdl -- снова зелень.
Я не шибко понимаю, что делаю, но выбрав в настройках kaffeine видеодрайвер
opengl тоже всё заработало.
А можете куда-то почитать отправить про все эти "видодрайверы", которые,
видимо, не совсем то, что подразумевается под драйвером в xorg.conf.
