Дык! Только я не знаю где именно эта консерватория расположена.
Насколько это зависит от X от WM от конкретного приложения :-(
И соотв. где искать настройки.

Простой пример, чтобы выбрать ту часть окна куда надо копировать удобнее
всего мышкой щелкнуть. И м.б. не один раз.
А любой щелчок мышкой в тексто-образное место снимает выделение.
