У меня на одном ноуте(сейчас и не вспомню какой - что-то из asus) была
ситуация, когда в llinux вообще не включался кулер, ни при какой
температуре/обстоятельствах. Ещё какое-то время назад загрузка модуля
ядра(тоже не помню какого точно :) ) для lm_sensors так же приводила к
невозможности запуска кулера.
Надеюсь на данный момент таких проблем не осталось.Но всёже ..., проверьте.
