какой совет?
прописать в /ets/sysconfig/harddisks? - так он только при загрузке считывается.
если при работе слетает DMA - то он не поможет.
Тем более если ядро при загрузке само выставило DMA, то в
/ets/sysconfig/harddisks его трогать не стоит.
