gnome-panel ему не должен быть нужен. Панели в cinnamon свои.

OK, тогда туда же надо все стандартные утилиты gnome-utils (gedit, gucharmap, gcalctool...)

Это от gnome2?
Все апплеты cinnamon у него внутри rpm или ставятся с сервера как расширения gnome-shell.

ТОЛЬКО НЕ ЭТО!!!!
Мерзкий pulse убивает звук передискретизацией и тормозами. Он не может быть обязательной частью десктопа.
У меня стоит запрет на установку этого пакета в принципе как вредоносного вируса.
