Други, может кто-нибудь обнародовать пошаговую универсальную инструкцию по сборке VMWare Workstation из тарболла без использования any-any-updates под AL Sysiphus?
А то у нас версии ядер обновляются быстрее, чем any-any-updates, а спеки с рпмками сизифные тоже не поспевают.
Все старые советы в рассылке уже не помогают. Модули собираются с ошибками, stdout пишет в изобилии чего-то про ошибку sysenter.

В общем случае не заработает.

Мда? Что именно не работает?

В сизифе нет спеков/рпмок, связанных с вмварью.

На .17 прекрасно работает с update-101.
