Здравствуйте,

проясните для общего развития, как такое происходит.


Долгое время не отображало кириллицу в консоле, не особо нуждался, но
недавно решил починить. Погуглил, почитал наш #28805, где сказано что
все должно работать.

Но у меня не работало пока я не создал /etc/vconsole.conf, с таким содержимым:
KEYMAP=ru
FONT=cyr-sun16

Хотя в тоже время
$ rpm -qf /etc/vconsole.conf
systemd-210-alt1

Делаю:
$ mv /etc/vconsole.conf /etc/vconsole.conf-
$ apt-get install --reinstall systemd
Чтение списков пакетов... Завершено
Построение дерева зависимостей... Завершено
0 будет обновлено, 0 новых установлено, 1 пакетов будет
переустановлено, 0 пакетов будет удалено и 0 не будет обновлено.
Необходимо получить 0B/1997kB архивов.
После распаковки потребуется дополнительно 0B дискового пространства.
Продолжить? [Y/n] y
Совершаем изменения...

$ cat /etc/vconsole.conf
cat: /etc/vconsole.conf: Нет такого файла или каталога
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Вот собственно и вопрос. Это как так получается? :/

P.S. Все из-за того, что хотел убедится или то что я нагугли для файла
vconsole.conf соответствует дефолту в Альт.

As we mentioned in the Section called The %files List, if a file is 
specified in the %files list, that file will automatically be included 
in the package. There are times when a file should be owned by the 
package but not installed - log files and state files are good examples 
of cases you might desire this to happen.
The way to achieve this, is to use the %ghost directive. By adding this 
directive to the line containing a file, RPM will know about the ghosted 
file, but will not add it to the package.

Спасибо, стал умнее :)
А как предполагается получить этот файл в установленной системе при
миграции на systemd?
