В федоре X стартуют на vt1.
По-этому надо быть осторожным, втягивая от них патчи.
Ещё, например, dm у них стартует через prefdm, в который тоже вставлен
код plymouth quit.
В systemd я тоже сделал запуск dm через prefdm.service
(/etc/X11/prefdm - в нём нет кода plymouth quit), но не отслеживаю
запущен ли plymouth, plymouth убивается только перед
getty@tty1.service
