Вот именно, что АЛЬТовская схема сильно отличается от ванильного ядра.
Многие вполне "продвинутые" пользователи иногда вынуждены пересобирать
ядро, но Atmsk.ru содержит (еще недавно содержал) давно устаревшую
информацию, используя которую пользователь только больше запутывается.
А уж традиционная отсылка к kernel-build-tools -- это вообще похоже на
издевательство. К тому же на все это накладываются ошибочки и глючки
(альтовских?) rpm-скриптов.
В итоге человек, который раньше не
собирал _альтовские ядра_ (но собирал много чего другого), или собирал
ядра в другом дистрибе тратит кучу времени на
постижение альтовской схемы сборки. К чему такая секретность?
