А чего у нас mc не входит в архивы 7z? Ругается, что не может найти файл
7za. Если сделать симлинк 7za->7z, то в архивы входит, но все каталоги
продублированы.

Странно, apt-cache search 7za ничего не выдает. И каким образом можно
догадаться, что оно именно там? И какой в нем смысл?
Каталоги все равно продублированы. Архив создавался командой 7z a ./КАТАЛОГ.

Повесьте баг на mc, чтоб использовал 7z при отсутсвии 7za.
