Почему?

Более того, именно баг в багзилле должен являться руководством к
действию :) Мантейнер ведь не обязан постоянно читать рассылки. А
сообщение о баге придет ему в личную почту и имеет больше шансов быть
услышанным. К тому же к багу можно подвесить отличнейший патч. :)
По thunderbird.
То, что noarch расширения должны лежать в /usr/share, а не в /usr/lib
- должно быть очевидно каждому, кто в курсе, что у нас есть 64битный
Сизиф.
Очевидно что переезд всех расширений из /usr/lib в /usr/share не может
быть мгновенным, и кто-то в процессе этого переезда пострадает.
Просто к этому нужно относиться с пониманием. И не сравнивать
нестабильный репозитарий пакетов с стабильным оффтопиком.
