Вчера обновился из Сизифа, поставил sane-server. В /etc/xinet.d/sane
прописал
only_from = 192.168.0.1/24
В /etc/sane.d/saned.conf прописал тот же адрес. Все работает.
Сегодня две разных машины (обе p6 + давнишние обновления до Сизифа)
обновил до p7 (прошло в целом без трудностей), поставил sane-server,
прописал то же самое в xinetd/saned. Не работает, saned жалуется на
неизвестный хост. Кончилось тем, что прописал адреса всей подсети
поштучно, все работает. Но почему saned не понимает адрес/маска?!!
Версия пакета и там и там sane-server-1.0.23-alt2. Но в Сизифе работает,
а в p7 нет.

Потому, что не верно указываете. Скорее всего вам нужно 192.168.0.0/24

И так тоже пробовал. Не работает. И не отвечает на вопрос, почему
работает на Сизифе и не работает на p7.
Более того, в дефолтном конфиге пример как раз 0.1/24.
