Подскажите пожалуйста, можно ли использовать pmount? И как? Я пакет-то поставил,
но сам pmount может запускаться только из-под root. Это разве правильно?

Можно сделать control pmount public или control pmount xgrp
Но про работоспособность сейчас ничего не скажу. Вроде там использовался
устаревший hal.
Стоит рассмотреть возможность использования udisks.
