Как я понял на своём английском... там написано что они временно
приостановили разработку, т.к. плагин будет глобальным образом переделан
из соображений безопасности... ну как то так...
Мне вот не понятно только зачем его из репозитория убирать было..
Оставили бы последнюю выпущенную версию, чтобы не лишать флэша
пользователей x86_64. И параллельно бы реализовывали "At this moment you
must install manually nspluginwrapper and
i586-mozilla-plugin-adobe-flash (see bugs 23876 23877 23878 23903) ". А
то щас вечно необновлённый пакет висит...
