Segmentation fault
$ rpm -qa|fgrep openoffice|sort
openoffice.org-3.1.0.6-alt4
openoffice.org-langpack-ru-3.1.0.6-alt4
$ uname -m
x86_64

если ООо запускается под KDE и переменная окружения KDE_FULL_SESSION не
пустая, а KDE_SESSION_VERSION пусто (хотя как такое может быть?),
случается страшное. хотя установка openoffice.org-kde в этом случае не
поможет...
в /etc/sysconfig/openoffice.org придется раскомментировать
export SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen
или
$ export OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=gen

Именно так и есть:
$ echo $KDE_FULL_SESSION
true
$ echo $KDE_SESSION_VERSION
$
Стоит КДЕ 3.5.10, руками ничего не трогал, как оно так получается не имею
понятия.
