Здравствуйте.
После сегодняшнего обновления при запуске firefox
стало выдаваться предупреждение вида
"Произошла ошибка при загрузке или сохранении конфигурационной
информации для xulrunner-bin. Некоторые из установок могут не
функционировать правильно."
В диалоге Подробности содержится следующая информация:
"Сбой при контакте с сервером конфигурации; среди возможных причин то,
что необходимо включить сетевые возможности TCP/IP для ORBit, или то,
что остались старые блокировки NFS из-за краха системы. Для получения
информации смотрите http://www.gnome.org/projects/gconf/ . (Подробно -
1: Не удалось подсоединиться к сеансу: Failed to execute dbus-launch to
autolaunch D-Bus session)"
Далее firefox запускается и работает нормально (никакого аномального
поведения пока не обнаружил).
Дальнейшее расследование показало:
[dmitry@computer ~]$ cat .xsession-errors\:0
....
Ошибка системы GConf: Сбой при контакте с сервером конфигурации; среди
возможных причин то, что необходимо включить сетевые возможности TCP/IP
для ORBit, или то, что остались старые блокировки NFS из-за краха

Стал смотреть далее, и выяснил что обновился GConf-2.22 до GConf-2.24.
Как говорится в /usr/share/doc/GConf-2.24/NEWS в версии 2.23
была реализована интеграции GConf с dbus
- integration with D-BUS (Ray Strode)
Вопрос1: что и где нужно настроить, чтобы нормально интегрировать
dbus и GConf?
Вопрос2: зачем нужен GConf, если я не пользуюсь GNOME?
