xdelta -- удобный инструмент для обновления больших бинарных файлов
Примеры использования.
сделать delta между ISO образами compact-3.0-rc7.iso и
compact-3.0-rc8.iso. Полученный результат записать в файл
compact-3.0-rc7-rc8.xdelta:
xdelta delta compact-3.0-rc7.iso compact-3.0-rc8.iso
compact-3.0-rc7-rc8.xdelta
получить из compact-3.0-rc7.iso compact-3.0-rc8.iso методом наложения
xdelta из файла compact-3.0-rc7-rc8.xdelta:
xdelta patch compact-3.0-rc7-rc8.xdelta compact-3.0-rc7.iso
compact-3.0-rc8.iso
Обратите внимание: качать дельту образов бесполезно, если у вас нет
файла, на который эта дельта накладывается.
т.е. достаточно одного образа инсталлера.
