[sisyphus] Unicode support vs ANSI

Hi,
Есть програмка. Написана на Си и требует только wxWindow, со слов
автора. Попытался собрать и
make

Автор предлагает собирать без Юникода. Но, нужна именно версия
2.8.Х. Можно как-то разрулить ситуацию малой кровью?
