Как выключить интерфейс для определенного профайла?
DISABLE=yes - отключает всю обработку интерфейса, он не глушется и 
соотв. роуты на него не удаляются.

Еще сломалось обновление resolv.conf при запуске команды
  swithto <profile>

Даже если DISABLE=no и pcmcia карта подключена и линк есть, тогда
  skipping hotplug iface 'ext' SKIPPED
и ifdown/up ext не работает
Как включать выключать pcmcia карту руками и в профайле?
