В таком виде, в каком сейчас в Сизифе находятся некоторые пакеты.
Официальная позиция ruby-team@, насколько я понимаю, что rubygems в
любом виде - не место в Сизифе. Я с ней не согласен, но сделать вряд ли
что-то могу. Дело все упирается в том, что либо есть некая масса
пакетов, которую надо либо всю собирать с поддержкой rubygems, либо всю
- без. Сейчас у нас - последний вариант. В итоге, например, те rails,
что в Сизифе, IMHO малоприменимы для разработчика.
Поэтому как компромисс, давно уже предлагаю удалить пакет rubygems из
Сизифа, с тем, чтобы не смущать людей. Сам уже где-то с апреля-мая
скачиваю просто тарболл с rubygems с сайта, а потом делаю уже нужные
"gem install имяпакета --remote -y".
