Здравствуйте.
Имею две связки:
nginx + php-fastcgi
apache1.3.37 + mod-php5
в обеих не сохраняются сессии
вернее сохраняются файлы сессий, но в них по 64 байта какого-то мусора.
что именно к этому привело - не могу сказать точно, но это произошло когда я обновил пхп 5.1.5 -> 5.2.0 и экспериментровал со сжатием output'а в пхп и апаче а также устанавливал/настраивал nginx и fastcgi
Куда копать?

Вернул php 5.1.5, снёс php5-cgi 5.2.0 (для 5.1.5 нету)
Всё заработало как часики....
