Самое интересное, что текущий мантейнер jabberd2 в Сизифе давно
раздумывает о переходе на ejabberd...
Хотя, в принципе, основная причина разочарования в jabberd2 - это
http://ejabberd.jabber.ru/jabber.org-migrated и общемировая тенденция
писать демонов на скриптовых "езыках".
Толку с jabberd2, если вокруг него надо настраивать кучку недософта,
который не то что про сброс привилегий - даже про эмуляцию daemon(3) не
в курсе :-( Да и сам jabberd2 - тоже не подарок в этом отношении.
В общем, если есть более инициативный мантейнер jabberd2 - отдам в его
руки. Сам им пользуюсь больше по инерции, да и не на Сизифе, а на ALM24
и CentOS4.
