Здравствуйте!
Есть довольно свежий Сизиф, Х не установлен. Расскажите, как теперь
правильно обращаться со сменными устройствами вроде cdrom, floppy, usb?
Установлены и запущены udevd, haldaemon. Первая проблема - в машине есть
cdrom:
# dmesg | grep hd
...
hdb: HL-DT-STDVD-ROM GDR8162B, ATAPI CD/DVD-ROM drive
...
Но в /dev соответствующего устройства не наблюдается. Что не так с udev,
как лечить?
Я создал устройство вручную:
# mknod /dev/hdb b 3 64
# chmod ug=rw,o= /dev/hdb
# chown root:cdrom /dev/hdb
# ls -l /dev/hdb
brw-rw---- 1 root cdrom 3, 64 Jul 18 22:00 /dev/hdb
Теперь пытаюсь его примонтировать:
# pmount-hal /dev/hdb
Error: given UDI is not a mountable volume
Что делать дальше?
