Имеется два привода:
dmesg | grep CD-R
hdd: CD-ROM Philips PCA402CDA, ATAPI CD/DVD-ROM drive
hdc: ATAPI 48X DVD-ROM DVD-R CD-R/RW drive, 2048kB Cache, UDMA(33)
То есть старый СД и пишуший ДВД. Но почему-то

итого 0

lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 6 Мар 29 21:01 dvd -> ../hdc
Что такое cdrom и зачем он указывает именно туда, а не на hdc? Почему
привод, который ничего не умеет писать, обозван cdwriter, а пишуший DVD
этой чести оказался лишен?
