Пробую сделать dis-upgrade, получаю в выводе:
The following packages will be REMOVED:
gnome-applets-battstat gnome-minimal-sisyphus gnome2-games-stones
newton
python-module-pygnome-applet python-module-pygnome-extras
python-module-pygnome-gnomeprint
python-module-pygnome-gtkmozembed
Пошто удаляются питоньи модули и ньютон? Это навсегда? Продолжается
уже больше недели. Раньше не знаю. Не пытался обновляться.

Можно ли более конкретно:
в новом libgnome-panel-devel сменился soname? или поменялось ABI
без изменения soname? И как может потребоваться пересобирать
newton если он написан на python?

Прямо сейчас сказать не смогу, нет ALTLinux под рукой. Посмотрите, что
им мешает. Касаемо питоньих привязок - скорее всего, из-за soname.

Потерпите до послепонедельниковского обновления Сизифа
пожалуйста.
Я сейчас пересобрал и отправил в Инкоминг необходимые модули.
