Здравствуйте!
Стабильно воспроизводится следующее на kernel-2.6.14-std:
при выполнении ifconfig eth0 hw ether xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
сразу после загрузки (с несконфигурированной картой) все виснет
намертво, не реагируя даже на sysrq+ ...
Однако, если задать предварительно любой ip - даже 0.0.0.0 - то
mac-адрес в дальнейшем меняется без проблем.
