Добрый день!
Сегодня без видимых причин( в том смысле, что обновления были 2 дня
назад), начал "падать" thunderbird. Выловил сообщение:
[yuri@localhost yuri]$ thunderbird
/usr/lib/thunderbird-1.0.6/run-mozilla.sh: line 451: 6985 Segmentation
fault "$prog" ${1+"$@"}
[yuri@localhost yuri]$
У кого-нибудь наблюдалось нечто подобное?

Наблюдалось. На tb не из Сизифа, а с официального сайта. Прошло после
обновления до свежей версии. Наблюдалось, пожалуй, раза два минимум.
Создалось впечатление, что причина -- появление на официальном сайте
обновленной версии. Thunderbird "видит", что есть обновление, пытается
то-ли скачать, то-ли открыть туда бравзер, и падает.

Очень даже похоже. Потому, что начало падать и в SUSE. Поставил сейчас
RC2 - пока полёт нормальный.
