Так. А можно вот так сообщить:
morsov@alexey ~ $ sane-find-scanner|grep -v #

В конфиге, который он должен использовать (plustek.conf сюдя по
данным с сайта sane), [usb] раскоментировано (т.е. он должен
автоопределяться)
