Наверное, это совершенно неконструктивное замечание, но по-моему, либо
иксы не оповещают менеджер окон о сменившемся разрешении экрана, либо
менеджер окон их не слушает. Второе менее вероятно, имхо: xrandr в KDE
отрабатывает вроде бы нормально.
