Привет,
Неожиданно (ну т.е. просто первый раз копнул) обнаружил что у меня
оказывается почему-то gstreamer (т.е. движок - и соответственно все что
через него) не хотят работать через alsa :( Проверка в
gstreamer-properties утверждает что
Сбой при создании проверочной цепочки для "ALSA - Advanced Linux Sound
Architecture"
через OSS работает. При чем (!) это дома, на работе через alsa все
заработало :(
Куда копать? Потому что вообще через alsa xmms и mplayer работают

Легко. И не только перехватить, но и перенаправить.
У нас в Сизифе есть инструментарий для этого. Больше не скажу.
