Проблема ведь совсем в другом.
А имеено в несогласованности действий install_kernel и старого инсталлятора.
Просто install_kernel вызывает detect_loader в тот момент установки,
когда _никакого_ загрузчика еще не установлено. Соответственно
записей о ядре в конфигах не появляется. Потом уже при установке
загрузчика их делает инсталлятор, причем делает неправильно,
а именно не делает записей вида 2426-*. А install_kernel лишь
добавляет записи такого вида и перебивает симлинки делая новое
ядро загружаемым по-умолчанию. В результате записей для старого,
установленного инсталлятором ядра не остается.
А теперь еще раз вопрос: при чем здесь std26-*?
