Подтверждаю проблему. Не знаю как подправить. Смирился уже давно. Как
обход использую пять на цифровой клавиатуре, иногда помогает. Иногда
удаётся находить пятерки где-то рядом и copy-paste в нужное место.

Нажать NumLock и набрать на numpad'е. Этой фишке уже столько же лет,
сколько vnc существует.
