Здавствуйте, господа.
Продолжаю воевать со своим PCI-модемом Genius на чипе Люсент.
Поставил, как советовали kernel-modules-ltmodem.
Сделал линк /dev/ttyLT0 -> /dev/modem.
Вручную загрузил модули lt_modem и lt_serial.
Настроил kppp. В разделе настройки модема, он (модем) видится, проходит
опрос устройства, все нормально.
Запускаю на соединение - появляется надпись "Набор номера"; в трее
Icewm, в системном мониторе красный график взлетает до потолка (я так
понимаю, это загрузка системной шины, загрузка процессора - зеленый),
думает 5 секунд, потом говорит - "NO Dialtone".
Перечитал всю документацию по ltmodem, там пишут что такое бывает,
предлагают настроить:
1.код страны
2.в BIOS'е отключить plug'n'play
3.разобраться с прерываниями.
С первыми двумя пунктами все нормально, с третьим - не думаю, что в этом
проблема. В винде модем работает прекрасно. Из PCI-устройств у меня еще
есть Live 5.1. Пробовал вообще вытаскивать звуковуху, переставлять модем
в другой слот - не помогает.
У меня закрадываются подозрения, что драйвер ltmodem вообще не работает
с данной моделью модема. Но ведь опрос устройства проходит нормально. В
чем дело - непонятно.
Может кому приходилось заводить именно такую модель - поделитесь опытом.
