Добрый день всем!
В /incoming/Sisyphus пошел новый пакет - axiom
Axiom это универсальная система аналитических
вычислений. Пакет подобного класса в Сизифе уже есть -
это Maxima. Axiom же отличается тем, что является
строго типизированной системой и включает иерархическую
систему математически строгих типов.
Axiom развивается с 1973 года (тогда система называлась
Scratchpad) в исследовательском центре IBM.
Позднее NAG продавала систему на коммерческой основе
уже под именем Axiom. И вот недавно она была выпущена
под свободной (Modified BSD) лицензией.
В программу вложено около 300 человеко-лет труда.
